Acting The Truth Scholarship Program

Every six months, Acting The Truth offers two scholarship positions to talented, hard-working actors who lack the resources necessary to train at the highest level. Qualified applicants will receive $1320.00 towards six months of Acting The Truth acting classes. Acting The Truth for more details.

Free Acting Class In Support of MEND

From time to time Acting The Truth offers a free acting class in support of a wonderful organization called MEND (Meet Each Need With Dignity- http://mendpoverty.org/about.html). MEND is a poverty-relief organization that serves up to 32,000 people a month in the San Fernando Valley while managing to keep operating costs at 5%. They provide folks in my community with food, shelter, health care, education and most importantly a means to self-sufficiency.

Here's where we come in. They don't get government grants. They rely on people like us to help them out by donating non-perishable food items, clothing, personal health supplies, school supplies, etc. So, we're going to give them what they need.

All you have to do is bring some items from MEND's list below and you can join us for a night of fun and challenging acting work. You can participate or just watch. It's up to you. Either way, it'll be a great night for a great cause.
